I was at a store recently to buy an item and discovered that the price has changed from what it was last week, so I jokingly said, “It seems the price of the product increases every week”. I was unprepared for the reply from another shopper standing beside me.
He said, “Prices change daily these days.” He told me how he refunded a huge sum of money because he quoted for a construction work, however, the client took 4 days to pay him and when he got to the market, the prices had almost doubled. He was told prices change daily.
Well, you guessed it. The image here was my face. As a business man, having to refund a huge sum of money after securing the deal is heart breaking.
